Trade alert between the Montreal Canadiens and the Los Angeles Kings.

Canadiens General Manager Kent Hughes announced today that the team has acquired the services of defenseman Frederic Allard from the Los Angeles Kings. In return, the Canadiens traded forward Nate Schnarr.
Allard, 25, has two goals and five assists in 35 games with the Ontario Reign in the AHL so far this season.
The St. Sauveur native was drafted in the third round (78th overall) by the Nashville Predators in 2016."
