On this NHL trade deadline day, we have some "other" news regarding Chris Wideman.
A turn of events for Wideman
While he was supposed to be out for an extended period due to injury, Wideman is already back on the ice!
"Chris Wideman, who was considered 'week to week' just last week, is currently on the ice with Adam Nicholas in Brossard."

Wideman is injured in the upper body, but fortunately seems to be returning to the game much earlier than expected.
Interestingly, Cole Caufield came to visit Wideman this morning in Brossard. It was great to see him.
