Kent Hughes, the General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens, is currently in negotiations with the Winnipeg Jets to work out a trade involving Pierre-Luc Dubois.
However, according to Marc de Foy's insightful reporting, Winnipeg is not impressed with the offers that have been presented by Montreal. All of their proposals have been rejected as they have reportedly been deemed unsatisfactory by the Jets' front office.
"An associated source tells me that the Canadiens will have to be more serious in their offers if they want to get their hands on Dubois. This information is not surprising at all.
As I wrote earlier this week, the currency of trade and salary requests from Dubois are proving to be a problem for the Habs." - Marc de Foy
At the moment, we should not get too excited about expecting a trade involving Dubois to be announced soon.
