A few seconds after the announcement of the major trade involving Patrick Kane, we have another one to announce.

According to Kevin Weekes' information, the Washington Capitals and the Minnesota Wild have just concluded a surprise trade.
Although he was not in the trade rumors and even though he is highly regarded in Washington, Marcus Johansson has just been traded!
"Breaking: Hearing the Capitals have traded forward (Marcus) Johansson to the Wild for a 3rd round pick."

Johansson, 32, has accumulated about thirty points (13 goals) in 60 games this season with the Caps. He was drafted in the first round in 2009..
