Signing Alert for the Montreal Canadiens: Young Defenseman Christopher Merisier-Ortiz Commits to the Rocket
We have just had a signing within the Montreal Canadiens organization.
In the last few seconds, Laval Rocket has announced this:
"The Rocket agrees on the terms of a one-season, two-way contract with defenseman Christopher Merisier-Ortiz."

Merisier-Ortiz, 22, is from Boisbriand. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, and is a great skater.
He collected 3 points in 15 games last season with the Pittsburgh Penguins' farm club (5 points total in his AHL career) and collected 32 points in 44 games in the ECHL.
