We have two last minute news on the NHL waivers this Sunday afternoon.

Firstly, forward Austin Czarnik was not claimed.
Then, please note an interesting news.
The Philadelphia Flyers have just placed goaltender Felix Sandstrom on waivers.
This is a surprise and it is important news for Montreal Canadiens fans, because it could trigger a lot of things on the goaltender market. (a market that heavily involves Kent Hughes)
Let's also remember that the Flyers are among the three teams most seriously interested in the services of goaltender Cayden Primeau.
In short, an announcement that could have several implications and a file to follow.
Sandstrom, 26 years old, is a 3rd round pick in 2015. He has played 25 games in the NHL, with a 3.62 average and a 0.887 save percentage behind a very porous defensive brigade in Philadelphia.
Details will follow.
