Ryan Reaves Calls Out Maple Leafs and Slams Coach Berube After Trade to Sharks

We had some action in Toronto with the Maple Leafs in the past few hours. Notably, General Manager Brad Treliving traded veteran Ryan Reaves to the San Jose Sharks, following a controversial appearance by Reaves on a podcast.
That said, even several hours after the trade was announced, Reaves had more to say!
Ryan Reaves Takes Aim at the Toronto Maple Leafs and Their Head Coach
With his usual bluntness, Reaves once again bashed the Leafs-this time after the trade-and let's just say he had a lot to say about head coach Craig Berube.
"Just a lack of trust very early.. I had one bad game and I was out of the lineup for 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 games.
I'd come back in, have a good game, but taken right back out. I really could never gain any momentum.."

And let's just say his condescending tone said it all. He seemed to be implying that there was absolutely no logic behind the Maple Leafs head coach's decisions in that regard.
Reaves eventually went to GM Treliving and pretty much immediately requested a trade.
It'll be interesting to see what he can bring to the young Sharks, but one thing's for sure-he won't be missing Toronto.

Reaves ultimately got what he wanted, and now he'll get a shot with a new organization-in the same division as a certain player he absolutely despises.
