The defenseman Alex Vlasic, from the Chicago Blackhawks, has just hurt Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.
He has just signed a surprise contract of, hold on, 27 million dollars!
The young defenseman will effectively pocket nearly 5 million dollars per year for six years. It's huge for a young depth defenseman who hasn't proven anything yet.

With this announcement from Chicago, the price of Kaiden Guhle's next contract just really went up, because, with all due respect, Guhle deserves MUCH more money than Vlasic.
