Major: David Savard has suffered a fracture and his replacement has already been identified
We just learned major news in the last few minutes.
Information from journalist Martin Leclerc, from Radio-Canada Sports.
"According to credible sources, David Savard has suffered a hand fracture that will not require surgery. He will be out of the game for about 6 weeks."
Martin Leclerc Ouch. Savard, a defensive cornerstone for Martin St-Louis's team, will essentially be absent until Christmas. Another big loss...
In short, with Justin Barron's performance again tonight, we bet he will be his replacement in the lineup. It will be interesting to see him in action on a more regular basis.
Note that JB is on the first pair tonight.
