In the last few minutes, live from the Bell Centre, TVA Sports journalist Anthony Martineau captured a beautiful reunion moment.
Cole Caufield, the Hughes brothers (Jack and Luke), and Tyler Toffoli had a long discussion, just hours before the Canadiens-Devils showdown.
It's worth noting that Toffoli now plays on the Devils' top line, the line of the dynamic Jack Hughes, after being traded from Calgary to New Jersey.
He's poised for a big night, having always had a great relationship with the Canadiens' youngsters like Caufield.
Speaking of Cole Caufield, he has been a very close friend of Jack Hughes for a long time. The two were stars in the American development program.
