Three Players Demoted Within the Canadiens Organization, Including a Once-Promising Prospect

We've just seen a fairly significant personnel move within the Montreal Canadiens organization.
The Laval Rocket announced this earlier:
"Forwards Joe Dunlap and
Riley Kidney and defenseman Darick Louis-Jean have been reassigned to the Trois-Rivières Lions"

It Looks Like It's Over for Riley Kidney Within the Montreal Canadiens Organization
Don't be surprised if he's no longer considered a Canadiens prospect eventually and ends up being released.
Check out what the excellent Anthony Marcotte (BPM Sports) had to say on the subject:
"We probably should have done it earlier, but Riley Kidney is being sent down to the Trois-Rivières Lions for the first time."
- Anthony Marcotte
He knows Kidney very well and also knows the Laval Rocket inside out, so...
Obviously, the "big name" among the three players mentioned above is Riley Kidney, in the sense that he's technically supposed to be a regular player for the Laval Rocket and should even be competing for a spot with the Montreal Canadiens.
That is clearly not the case.
Riley Kidney, 22 years old, is a 5-foot-11, 188-pound forward who was indeed a 2nd-round pick of the Montreal Canadiens in 2021 (63rd overall).
He had collected 110 points and 100 points in his last two junior seasons (in the QMJHL), but he has only put up 16 points and 20 points (in 56 games and 65 games) in his first two seasons with the Laval Rocket.
