Leaked information regarding the Guhle injury indicates that he could miss a few weeks
The injury suffered by Kaiden Guhle of the Montreal Canadiens is turning into a real saga.
First, rumors began to circulate (and caused quite a stir) that it was a long-term injury for Guhle. The renowned Elliotte Friedman even seemed to make a statement in that direction.
Then there's Renaud Lavoie who denied everything and clearly stated this:
"I did my checks on that and I can confirm that it's absolutely false (that it's a serious injury). In fact, the people I contacted were more laughing about this information than anything else. That gives you an idea.", indicating that it will not be a long absence.
"It's possible he'll miss one, two, three games," Lavoie explained."
Then the Montreal Canadiens announced that Kaiden Guhle's situation would be re-evaluated on a daily basis.
It seemed like a settled matter and excellent news.
But not so fast!
In a press conference, here's what defenseman Johnatan Kovacevic said, which clearly seems to have slipped out.
"It sucks! It sucks for me because I played with him and we're good friends. It's something you never want to see. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope he'll be back in a few weeks."
Johnathan Kovacevic A few weeks? He hopes it's just "a few weeks"? One really starts to wonder what's going on with this situation.
