Tony DeAngelo just made the most disgraceful move of the season and Corey Perry is the victim
Last night, during the game between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Tampa Bay Lightning, defenseman Tony DeAngelo made an ugly gesture.
Probably the worst of the season.
See for yourself:
Corey Perry was his victim, and Perry's teammates had the best possible reaction as they all jumped on DeAngelo:
As a result, the NHL has just made a last-minute announcement:
"Tony DeAngelo of Philadelphia will have a hearing today for his actions towards Corey Perry of Tampa Bay."
A suspension is expected, especially since DeAngelo tried to defend himself by saying that the reactions were practically exaggerated.
Not sure if the league will buy that defense. Details to follow.
