We witnessed a special scene during Jesperi Kotkaniemi's press conference yesterday
Last night, during his post-game press conference, we realized just how observant young Jesperi Kotkaniemi is.
Thanks to KK, we witnessed a special moment.
It was the excellent journalist Guillaume Lepage (NHL) who was the first to report it:
KK asked the first question of his press conference to Katherine Harvey-Pinard.
"Was that your face on the big screen? The guy on the other side, is that your brother?"

It was a surprise, but hats off to Kotkaniemi for noticing. He even interrupted the journalists at the beginning of his press conference and, before answering any questions, he wanted to address the excellent sports journalist Katherine Harvey-Pinard directly.
She was clearly touched. You can see her reaction here:

Speaking of last night's game, the Montreal Canadiens lost 4-3 in a shootout to the Carolina Hurricanes at the Bell Centre. It was actually Kotkaniemi who scored the winning goal in the shootout.
He was quite proud of himself.
