Trade involving the CH's 5th overall pick: big statement from Kent Hughes
During his press conference yesterday, in the context of the 2023 National Hockey League Draft, the general manager of the Montreal Canadiens, Kent Hughes, was asked about the possibility of trading his first-round picks, including the 5th overall pick.
See his response:
Yes! Everything is on the table right now.
- Kent Hughes
This is promising! Will Hughes pull a rabbit out of his hat like with Kirby Dach during the 2022 Draft? It's definitely a possibility and he's not hiding it.
He also suggested that there are currently many discussions for a trade.
A case to watch closely.
The action resumes! We love it!
