Last night, the excellent Eric Engels, from Sportsnet, was present on Tony Marinaro's podcast, and he revealed major information.

And it's not good news in our opinion.

According to the information gathered by Engels, the Canadiens would overlook Matvei Michkov if he's available at their draft pick (at the fifth overall choice).

This comes from sources directly involved in the NHL, so it's reliable.

However, we must be extremely cautious at this stage, because a lot of information is circulating, and some are obviously trying to conceal their game.

But according to well-placed sources in the NHL, Michkov would be ruled out of the Tricolore's plans, and if this is confirmed, it will be extremely regrettable.

We're talking about a player who could completely change the Canadiens for 10 or 15 years.
