It must be admitted that after an almost finished season, the organization of the Canadiens seems to have not made the best choices during its first round of drafting in 2022, and I will explain it to you.

Logan Cooley, Coyotes' top pick, now ranks first overall according to Sportsnet's new top 10.

If the draft were to be redone, Juraj would still rank second, according to Sportsnet.

Details here:

Huge surprise to note: Shane Wright is OUT of the top 10 in this new 2022 draft.

As for the Canadiens' second first-round pick, Filip Mesar, he's been rather disappointing this season, unable to maintain a 1 point per game average in the OHL.

The pick that was thought to be the Gorton crew's choice was actually Jiri Kulich, who is also tearing it up in the AHL. At 18, 22 goals and 44 points in just 58 games is absolutely spectacular. The future looks bright for the young man.

So according to Sportsnet, the Canadiens are 0 for 2, but they could make up for it with their second-round picks who have performed beyond expectations, specifically Owen Beck and the young sensation Lane Hutson.

Hutson even deserves a mention near Sportsnet's top 10, which is very impressive.
