Just a few hours before their game against the Montreal Canadiens, live from Toronto, the Maple Leafs have just announced a special decision.
Even though they still have four games to play this season and all their defenders are healthy, the Leafs have decided to rest their two best defenders.
Morgan Rielly and T.J. Brodie will not play against the Habs tonight.
With eight healthy defensemen, Sheldon Keefe is resting his two best defensemen for a meaningless game against Montreal.
