An important decision has been made by Patrick Roy and the Islanders.
Patrick Roy and the Islanders announce a coaching dismissal: Piero Greco has been let go
Here's confirmation from insider Elliotte Friedman:
"After last night's game - a 4-3 win over San Jose - the Islanders made a change at goalie coach.
Sergei Naumov - who was at AHL Bridgeport and has a history with Ilya Sorokin - replaces Piero Greco."

Hopefully, this will help Mathieu Darche and Patrick Roy get their elite goaltender back on track.
Patrick Roy's Islanders haven't exactly had the start to the season they were hoping for - with 6 points in 6 games, they currently sit 12th in the Eastern Conference standings (and 23rd overall in the NHL).
This tough start is largely due to the struggles of their star goalie, Ilya Sorokin, who has a record of 2 wins and 3 losses, a goals-against average of 3.90, and a save percentage of .873.
That explains why Patrick Roy made this decision regarding his goaltending coach.
