The behind-the-scenes mind games continue between the Montreal Canadiens and the Washington Capitals. In fact, it mostly seems to be coming from the Capitals, I would say.

Regarding the famous injury suffered by Logan Thompson on Friday night, the Caps did everything today to try and play a trick on the Habs.
They are clearly trying to hide their hand.
They even announced a schedule change and canceled a press conference for Thompson, who normally always meets with the media on game days.
"Logan Thompson usually speaks gameday but is unavailable because he "hasn't been cleared yet."

Playoffs..

But that's not all.

Charlie Lindgren and Logan Thompson Make a Plan to Fool the Montreal Canadiens

You read that right.
"Logan Thompson and Charlie Lindgren arranged to leave the ice at the same time after the short practice session.

Normally, the first goalie off the ice is the one starting that night.. they're playing games!

Spencer Carbery obviously did not confirm his starter."

- Patrick Friolet, RDS

It's safe to say - they're playing games! Their exit looked planned!
They even made a little plan to properly hide their intentions from the Montreal Canadiens.
"Charlie Lindgren and Logan Thompson left practice together.

Thompson stayed on the ice for 10 minutes, Lindgren for 15 minutes."

- Renaud Lavoie, TVA Sports

We therefore have absolutely no clue.
More to come.
