This comment refers to the following statement by Matthews:
"I thought we had too many passengers," says Leafs captain Auston Matthews, who had two shots on goal tonight.

At first, I gave Matthews the benefit of the doubt and thought he was including himself among the "passengers," but reporters on site strongly felt that the captain was clearly pointing fingers at others.
Those are the three names most frequently mentioned by Toronto journalists as likely being the "passengers" Matthews was referring to.
In any case, for the Leafs to collapse like that and lose 6-1, there must have been more than just 3-4 passengers, if you ask me.
It's going to be a fascinating offseason in Toronto, without a doubt.
