For the past few weeks, and especially since the NHL trade deadline, it's been quiet on the waivers, but there has just been some action.
"Carl Dahlstrom (TORONTO) placed on the waivers. And he's back healthy."
- Elliotte Friedman
First move on the waivers in a while, and it's obviously still interesting to follow even if it's not a big name.
So now various teams can add Dahlstrom to their rosters.
He is a special player, because he is one of the very few players in the league who is considered both a forward AND a defenseman.
He alternates between the two positions and brings an interesting versatility in case of injuries.
Dahlstrom, 28 years old and 6 feet 4 inches, is a 2nd round pick in 2013. He has 12 NHL points and 14 points in 49 games this season with the Marlies.
More details will follow.
