Former Montreal Canadiens player Georges Laraque was very harsh (and rightfully so) toward Ottawa Senators forward Nick Cousins.

I think by now, you know the story well - but just to recap, Cousins literally tried to injure Ivan Demidov during the preseason game in Quebec, swinging his stick like a hatchet directly at Demidov's wrist before running away from the Canadiens' tough guys.
Jayden Struble set things straight on Saturday by dropping the gloves with Cousins and settling the score.

Georges Laraque adds more about Nick Cousins

"Oh no, you won't finish the game.

Nick Cousins, you've been such a coward!

You were such a coward you didn't even want to play the last preseason game against the Montreal Canadiens. You're coming to our house, there are guys coming after you and you know it... Someone's going to take care of you!"

- Georges Laraque, BPM Sports

Well, it turns out he just added another layer to it on BPM Sports radio.
"The guy wanted to choose who he was going to 'respect the code' with.

He wanted to fight Gallagher, he wanted to fight Carrier... Are you kidding me?

You slashed Demidov, and now you want to pick who you'll fight so you don't look as bad as you are?

No.

You don't get to choose!

He had no choice but to go with Struble - it's not like he wanted to...

Struble simply didn't give him a choice!

He's a coward. I give him zero credit.

I have no respect for that guy."

- Georges Laraque, on Nick Cousins

It's well worth a listen:
Very well said!
