The recent announcements from the Montreal Canadiens have created a domino effect throughout the organization.
One of them is Quebec defenseman Noah Massie, who has just been released for that very reason.
Noah Massie Released: He Leaves the Montreal Canadiens Organization
See the confirmation here:
"The Trois-Rivières Lions have announced the release of defenseman Noah Massie."

We wish him the best of luck moving forward.
Noah Massie, 26 years old and originally from Saint-Lazare (Quebec), is a left-handed defenseman standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 190 pounds.
He recorded 7 points in nearly 100 career games in the QMJHL, playing for the Moncton Wildcats and the Charlottetown Islanders.
He's known as a more physical player, having collected 95 penalty minutes in just 39 games in Summerside.
Massie was released after playing only three games within the Montreal Canadiens organization, with the Trois-Rivières Lions (one point, two penalty minutes, and a -1 rating).
With the returns of
David Reinbacher, William Trudeau, and even Joshua Jacobs, it will be interesting to see how the new lineup unfolds across the three levels within the Canadiens organization.
