The Montreal Canadiens organization has made an interesting acquisition on offense.
Alex Beaucage, whose name has been linked to the Habs several times over the past few months (via trade rumors), has finally signed a one-year contract with the Laval Rocket.
He is finally joining the Canadiens organization and will try to impress Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton in hopes of securing a future contract with the big club.

Beaucage, 22, is a 6-foot-1, 192-pound forward from Trois-Rivières. He was a third-round pick by the Colorado Avalanche in 2019.
This season, he has accumulated 25 points in 29 games with the Utah Grizzlies, as well as 7 points in 21 games with the Colorado Eagles.
Beaucage has also had seasons with 28 points in 22 games, 70 points in 63 games, and 79 points in 68 games in the QMJHL.
He notably stood out during the 2021 playoffs, with 25 points in 16 games with the Victoriaville Tigres (champions).
