Patrik Laine Steals the Show in Brossard With Funny Comments on Demidov and St-Louis

We got to see a Patrik Laine who was extremely funny, and pleasant during the live press conference from Brossard.
Unlike Kirby Dach, who had just gone before him, Laine was very giggly and gave us some solid soundbites.
The most striking moment was definitely when he immediately contradicted Martin St-Louis-with humor and confidence-saying that we're not "probably" going to see the best version of Patrik Laine this season..
We're "ABSOLUTELY" going to see the best version of Patrik Laine this season, according to him.. We love it!
Patrik Laine on Martin St-Louis' comments yesterday:
"No 'we might not' - we will. We will see the best version, there's no question about that.."

Let's just say the message is very clear!
He added that, in his opinion, the best version of himself is a Patrik Laine who skates, works hard in the corners, plays physically, is reliable defensively, and hopefully scores a few goals once in a while.
He's really in an excellent mindset!
Patrik Laine is "10 out of 10" excited to play on a line with Ivan Demidov
When I tell you Laine was in a great mood, just look at his response when he was asked about the opportunity to play on a line with a young talent like Ivan Demidov.
Patrik Laine with a funny answer when asked if he's lucky to play with Ivan Demidov:
"he'll get a chance to play with me let's put it this way - I'm in my 10th year!"

Basically, he replied that it's Demidov who's lucky to be able to play on his line, not the other way around.. (joking of course!) It really made us laugh!
Laine then said that he is "10 out of 10" excited about the chance to play on the same line as Demidov.
It really was a good press conference.
