Mistake was spotted on Adam Engström's Canadiens jersey in his NHL debut against the Mammoth

More and more, serious attention is being paid in the National Hockey League to correctly spelling the names of European players.
We saw it with Juraj Slafkovský, we saw it with Jakub Dobeš, and we may soon see it with young Adam Engström.

Here is what he just reported.
Asked Adam Engström if his last name takes an 'ö'. He confirmed it does, yet on his Canadiens jersey, it is spelled with an 'o':
"Maybe they don't have it here, I don't know."
They do.
"Maybe I need to tell them that."
Here's hoping he told them in time for his NHL debut.

I wonder whether this bothers Adam more, or the journalists who insisted on asking about it, but in any case, it will be interesting to see if this mistake gets corrected in time for the next Montreal Canadiens game.
Martin St-Louis's team meets the Vegas Golden Knights Friday at 4:00 p.m. as Sam Montembeault will get the start in net.
Adam Engström finished the game against the Mammoth with 10 minutes and 42 seconds of ice time.
With those 10 minutes and 42 seconds, Engström finished with an even rating and one shot on goal.
