A special locker-room scene unfolds between St-Louis and his players after big win in Vegas

Normally, this video comes out overnight and we share it the next morning, but since today's game was in the afternoon, we can show it to you right away.

In the Canadiens' locker room, following the solid 4-1 victory against the Golden Knights, live from Las Vegas, we notably saw head coach Martin St-Louis hand a game puck to Alexandre Texier, who recorded his first point in his first game with the Habs.

A little later in the video, as you could see, forward Zachary Bolduc also handed the wolf head of the player of the game to none other than his fellow countryman Samuel Montembeault, who absolutely deserved it after delivering his best game of the season

In the team's victory, goalie Montembeault was brilliant, especially early in the game, and he stopped 30 of the 31 shots directed at him.

This performance will do wonders for his confidence and also for his personal statistics.

His save percentage has just risen to .864 (for this season) and his goals-against average has dropped to 3.49.

It's moving in the right direction.

In the win, also note the performances of Zachary Bolduc, Cole Caufield and Juraj Slafkovsky, who each collected two points.
