In a press conference in the last few minutes, Utah Mammoth head coach André Tourigny announced some terrible news.
As you can see in the video below, the excellent Tourigny was extremely emotional and had a heavy heart today in front of the media, as he had horrible news to announce.
The father of Utah Mammoth star forward Clayton Keller has passed away suddenly
I can't even imagine what young Keller must be feeling right now.
Here is the full statement from Tourigny and the Utah Mammoth:
"With a heavy heart, we had tough news as a family yesterday. Clayton Keller's dad (Bryan) passed away unexpectedly in his sleep. Clayton wants to play and be with the team. We want to express our condolences to the family, Clayton, his mom (Kelley), his brother (Jake). It's a tough time for the family and we will support him in any way we can. We and the family ask everyone to respect their privacy."

This terrible news comes not even 48 hours after the matchup between the Montreal Canadiens and the Mammoth, directly from Utah.
Clayton Keller, only 27 years old, is a 5-foot-10, 175-pound forward who was the 7th overall pick of the Arizona Coyotes in 2016. He has 21 points in 24 games this season, after putting up 90 in 81 games last season.
Our condolences to the Keller family.
