According to information from Sportsnet's renowned insider Elliotte Friedman, Kent Hughes is about to announce two signings.

In his latest podcast 32 Thoughts, the NHL's top insider announced two major contract extensions coming for the Montreal Canadiens.

This involves Juraj Slafkovsky and Kaiden Guhle, two pillars for the future of the organization.

It's important to remember that the two youngsters, Guhle and Slafkovsky, will still earn $925,000 per year next season. There's one year left on their rookie contracts, but they are already eligible for a contract extension this summer.

It will be really interesting to see the amounts.

For Juraj Slafkovsky, an 8-year contract at $8 million per year is demanded by many, while the young Kaiden Guhle is expected to earn slightly less.

Our prediction? 8 years and $8 million per year for Slafkovsky and 8 years and $6.75 million per year for Guhle.
