Over the past few days, Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon have accepted Team Canada's invitation to represent the country at the World Championship.
The World Championship kicks off on May 9.
This year's tournament is co-hosted by Sweden and Denmark, but when it comes to rosters, it was a post by John Shannon that raised a few eyebrows among Montreal Canadiens fans.
A Strange Rumor About Nick Suzuki Is Circulating Following a Post by John Shannon
As reported by the site DansLesCoulisses, the veteran journalist stated that Nick Suzuki and
Connor Bedard might regret turning down Hockey Canada's invitation to represent team Canada.
"With Crosby and MacKinnon heading to the Worlds, you have to wonder if Nick Suzuki and Connor Bedard are having second thoughts about turning Hockey Canada down."

The problem is, the Canadiens' captain has still not given his final answer.
On that note, insider Marco D'Amico mentioned that Suzuki is actually waiting for medical clearance before heading to Europe.
Is Nick Suzuki bitter toward Hockey Canada's leadership for being overlooked during the Four Nations Face-Off back in February?
Maybe, but regardless, following the tournament in which Canada defeated the United States, the offensive production of number 14 spiked, as he tallied 37 points in 26 games.
Nick Suzuki isn't the only Canadiens player who received an invitation to represent Canada.
