David Savard accidentally leaks the reason Martin St-Louis left the team
As we reported earlier in the evening, the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Martin St-Louis, unfortunately left the team's entourage for an indefinite period.
We only knew it was for family reasons, but nothing more.
David Savard to TVA Sports, during the intermission:
"It's never fun to learn about these things. Our thoughts are with Martin's family. I liked how the guys reacted. We're going to try to get a win for his guy. We're going to try to keep going."

Savard thus slipped up by saying it's related to his son, but anyway, it really breaks our heart.
Savard probably didn't know that it hadn't been publicly mentioned that it was because of his son, but well, that's really not the important part.
Knowing that it's because of his son makes it so much worse.
We really hope it's not too serious.
Our thoughts are sincerely with Martin St-Louis and his family.
Savard on TVA mentions that their thoughts are with Marty and his family, and that the group want to rally together and win this for his son.
