Last night, we had a great wave of hope regarding the upcoming return to play of the young forward Kirby Dach, when the Canadiens announced for the very first time that he had made the trip with his teammates.
We suspected that it probably wouldn't happen tonight against the Calgary Flames, but well, it has just been confirmed.

No return to play tonight for Kirby Dach.
The CH has just confirmed that the only changes to the lineup concern Samuel Montembeault (OUT), Johnatan Kovacevic (OUT), Jayden Struble (IN), and Cayden Primeau (IN).
Christian Dvorak will not be returning to play immediately, either.
However, returning to Kirby Dach, it will be extremely important to monitor his presence at the next full CH practice.
If he practices as a regular, with a regular jersey, we could seriously hope to see him return to play Tuesday in Edmonton or Thursday in Vancouver.
Dach, 23 years old, a 3rd overall pick in 2019, has accumulated two points in two games this season. He is in the final stages before returning to play and there is still plenty of time.
