In the last few seconds, the Montreal Canadiens made a very interesting announcement.
As you know, since the Jake Allen trade, the young Cayden Primeau has been simply on fire.Announcement and reward for Primeau!
Just how solid has he been? Well, to the point where he has actually just won the Molson Cup for the month of March! Solid!
This is unprecedented for a number two goaltender for the Canadiens!
Primeau, who was named the first star of the game twice (on March 12 against the Blue Jackets and March 28 against the Flyers), has an outstanding record of 3-1-1 this month.
He also maintained a 1.97 average as well as a save percentage of .939.
