See the official announcement:
Rocket agree to terms on a one-year, two-way AHL contract with forward Mark Estapa.
Laval signed forward Mark Estapa to an AHL contract for 2025-26.

Estapa joined AHL-Laval back in March on an amateur tryout contract following four years at the University of Michigan.
We're excited to see him in action!
At 23 years old, Estapa is a 6-foot-2, 197-pound forward who played for the prestigious University of Michigan team in the NCAA, where he collected 21 points over the past two seasons.
Yes, he played at Michigan with Michael Hage, the Canadiens' 2024 first-round pick.
Before joining the Wolverines, Estapa tallied 31 points in 45 games in the USHL with the Tri-City Storm, so he does have some offensive upside.
A warm welcome to Mark Estapa as he officially joins the Montreal Canadiens organization!
His acquisition will help make up for the loss of several Laval Rocket forwards, most notably Rafaël Harvey-Pinard.
Speaking of reinforcements for Pascal Vincent's squad, which had an impressive 2024-2025 season, let's also remember this:
