We've talked about several Montreal Canadiens players over the past few hours.

As part of the team's end-of-season review yesterday, many players dropped hints about their future with the organization.
Quietly, a number of players have contracts expiring on July 1, and some of them have likely played their final game with the Canadiens.
That said, among the upcoming unrestricted free agents, one player stood out by his absence yesterday and unfortunately, it truly seems like he has played his last game in a Habs uniform.

It Appears to Be Over for Michael Pezzetta with the Montreal Canadiens

That's indeed the word going around, especially considering he wasn't even present yesterday for the media availability.
While names like Joel Armia and Christian Dvorak could possibly receive contract extensions in Montreal - particularly Armia - it seems the case is already closed for "good old Pezz," as Bob Hartley so fondly calls him.
We may even get an official answer on this as early as Monday, during the press conference with Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton.
If it is confirmed that Pezzetta's time in Montreal is over, then we truly thank him for his valuable service.
Quietly, he gave his heart and soul to this organization for several years.
Pezzetta, age 27, has recorded 38 points in 200 career NHL games, including 15 goals.
This season, he posted no points in 25 games, but brought plenty of energy to the team.
