In the last few minutes, Kent Hughes confirmed in a press conference, but the Montreal Canadiens announced two paper transactions with the Laval Rocket.

Two more paper transactions by Kent Hughes

"The Canadiens made paper transactions with Joshua Roy and Jayden Struble so they are eligible to be returned to Laval." - Montreal Canadiens

Therefore, they become options for the end of the season and for the Rocket's playoffs, if applicable.
Roy, 20 years old, a 5th round pick in 2021, has 8 points in 18 NHL games and 32 points in 40 games this season in the AHL.
Struble, 22 years old, a 2nd round pick in 2019, has 7 points in 41 NHL games and 6 points in 12 games this season in the AHL.
They could really help the Rocket, and the plan was clearly for them to stay a bit longer in Laval, but they simply do not give the Habs management a choice to keep them with the big club.
They are expected to finish the season with the Canadiens and to be called up before the next game.
Details to follow.
