And there you have it! Case closed for this 2024 trade deadline for Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.

Pierre LeBrun has just announced that the Habs GM has officially finished his shopping. There will be no further transactions, which means that David Savard and Tanner Pearson, among others, have not been traded.
They will finish the season with the Habs.
"David Savard stayed put. Habs did not trade him." - Pierre LeBrun.

"It's only a matter of time for David Savard.

He can be traded this summer, he can be traded at the next trade deadline... there was no rush.

He will continue to provide his valuable advice to the youngsters of the club in the meantime!" - Marc-Olivier Beaudoin

Savard will be excellent for the development of young players like Lane Hutson, David Reinbacher, Kaiden Guhle, Arber Xhekaj, Jayden Struble.
Details to follow.
