Sportsnet journalist Eric Engels has just identified a new reason why young goaltender Jakub Dobes was so shaken up last night.

We recall, of course, that following the Montreal Canadiens' loss to the New Jersey Devils, Dobes gave a very emotional scene in front of reporters.
Marty commented on the situation:
"Everybody handles situations differently and he took it hard; it's probably a big reason why he's at this level, he's probably demanding of himself, we'll talk to Dobes, he's played really well for us."

In short, Dobes surprised everyone and showed that he's a true competitor and a genuine winner.
He was clearly extremely upset about the loss, but as journalist Eric Engels from Sportsnet also pointed out, Dobes had just missed a great opportunity to make NHL history.

A new reason explaining young Jakub Dobes' sadness and frustration

Here's the journalist Eric Engels' post about it:
"Jakub Dobes was tied with Ken Dryden and Wayne Thomas at 6-0-0 to start the season, pursuing Carey Price, who started 2016-17 at 10-0-0 for the post-expansion franchise record. Could partially explain his reaction to last night's loss."

Eric Engels, who then added:

"It's not good enough. 6-0-0 is not good enough. I really wanted.." Dobes said before abruptly cutting his post-game avail.

Indeed, that could explain Dobes's final statement.
