The young Montreal Canadiens goaltender, Jakub Dobes, indeed made a heartbreaking gesture after Jesper Bratt's game-winning goal for the New Jersey Devils.
In his postgame press conference, the young Dobes couldn't hold back his tears in the locker room, in front of reporters and cameras, and he placed 100% of the blame for the loss on his own shoulders.
He said and repeated that it was entirely his fault that the Montreal Canadiens lost last night in New Jersey.
Yes, he's being far too hard on himself.

Here's what he had to say following the sequence above:
"We played good enough to win. Just not good enough from my side. I don't know, just really hard. This is a tough one. Just sucks...It happened last year, it happened this year...Just disappointed in myself..."

"Jakub Dobes emotional after tonight's game, blames himself for the loss.
The youngster is a competitor that hates to lose."
- Marco D'Amico
It's beautiful to see and sad to see at the same time...
It's sad to see him so shaken and affected, but it's also beautiful to see how strong his hunger for victories and success truly is.
The Devils thus remain at the top of the Eastern standings.
