World Junior Hockey Championship cancelled

After several cancelled games in the last two days, the IIHF has just announced that the World Junior Hockey Championship is cancelled.
Canada was supposed to continue its journey tonight against Germany, but will instead see its tournament stopped due to the ravages of the Omicron variant.
It's a real shame for Dave Cameron's team, considering the great start they had. They had beaten the Czech Republic 6-3, and yesterday they beat Austria 11-2. How sad!
