Stéphane Waite is definitely popular today, as he was on 98.5 last night. He talked about Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Phillip Danault and Carey Price, with whom he still has a good relationship.
Number 31 of the Montreal Canadiens went under the knife on July 23 at the HSS (Hospital for Special Surgery) in New York. Dr. Robert Marx handled the knee surgery, who said Price's rehabilitation would be between 10 and 12 weeks.
But it looks like it will be a little less than 10 weeks. I remind you that during Dominique Ducharme's press briefing at his annual golf tournament, he indicated that Price would be in camp, but remained evasive about his exact arrival.
That being said, according to Stéphane Waite's information, Price will be present at the opening of the Habs' training camp. He feels in great shape and his level of motivation is very high for the 2021-22 campaign. It is understandable, Marc Bergevin still gave him elements that will greatly help the team, like Christian Dvorak, Mike Hoffman and David Savard.
