We just learned the identity of a player that the Leafs do not want to see again next year

As reporter James Mirtle reports, the Toronto Maple Leafs could make some major changes this summer to change the recipe a bit and try to finally make it to the second round of the NHL playoffs.

A first announcement has been made in this sense.

William Nylander's name is being bandied about, but he is not the one we are talking about here:

"According to sources, the Maple Leafs have no interest in keeping Petr Mrazek for next season. They don't want to see him back with the team next season." - James Mirtle

So in addition to goaltender Jack Campbell, who has yet to have any discussions with Toronto for a new contract, there's also goaltender Petr Mrázek who obviously won't be back in Toronto next year.

Could we see a scenario where the Leafs go into next season with two new goalies? It's definitely possible.

Mrazek, 30, finished the most recent campaign with a 12-6-0 record, a 3.34 goals-against average and a 0.888% save percentage. He also played one game in the AHL. (4 goals on 26 shots)
