Viral video: Julien Gauthier makes a speech in French in the Rangers' locker room and his teammates' reaction is perfect
Thursday night, the New York Rangers were in Toronto to play the Maple Leafs. To motivate his troops, the Rangers asked Julien Gauthier from Quebec to announce the starting lineup of the "Blueshirts". A little peculiarity, he did it in his native language, which made the Quebec media react well.
We love to see this kind of pre-game speech. It is surprising that we have never seen this kind of video before a game with the CH. With the French classes that have started in the organization, we could very well see a Quebecer imitate Gauthier with the same type of speech...
Getting back to the Rangers. they have been spoiled in the last few years when it comes to pre-game speeches. Their former tough guy, Ryan Reaves, was very good at motivating the troops. Seeing that the players have stepped up to the plate after his trade is a good thing.
