Trade market: a big rumor seems to be confirmed between the Canadiens and the Ducks
Reporter Stu Cowan always does a great job of noticing the interesting people at the Bell Centre, those who come to watch the Montreal Canadiens games.
In this regard, we may have just received an interesting clue:
The Anaheim Ducks' general manager is there, in person, at the Bell Centre for the Devils-Canadiens duel.
Remember that for several weeks, Pat Verbeek is linked to Kent Hughes for a possible transaction involving a forward. The rumors seem to be confirmed. At least, there is a little more smoke.
Verbeek is probably here to evaluate players like Mike Hoffman, Evgenii Dadonov, Christian Dvorak and Sean Monahan. That's exactly what he's looking for right now, as he wants to add depth to his offense, and that's probably what the Tricolore's general manager has to offer as well.
It's interesting to see that he made the long trip. A file to keep an eye on.
