The Anaheim Ducks' general manager is there, in person, at the Bell Centre for the Devils-Canadiens duel.
Remember that for several weeks, Pat Verbeek is linked to Kent Hughes for a possible transaction involving a forward. The rumors seem to be confirmed. At least, there is a little more smoke.
Verbeek is probably here to evaluate players like Mike Hoffman, Evgenii Dadonov, Christian Dvorak and Sean Monahan. That's exactly what he's looking for right now, as he wants to add depth to his offense, and that's probably what the Tricolore's general manager has to offer as well.
Remember that last season, the Anaheim Ducks acquired Evgenii Dadonov, before the NHL refused the move (the famous failed Vegas Golden Knights transaction)
