Georges Laraque questions Xhekaj's technique and cautions him before Blue Jackets game

In preparation for the matchup between the Montreal Canadiens and the Columbus Blue Jackets, former player Georges Laraque sent a strong message.
It appears to be directed at Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhekaj, following his fight against Tanner Jeannot and ahead of a potential clash with Mathieu Olivier and the Jackets.
"If he caught him again while he was down like that, it would've been over.
That's what I don't understand.
Before, his technique-how he went in-was fine, but now, the last three fights, I look at it and his head is tilted, he goes in with both arms forward, he's square in front of the guy, he's completely open, his whole face is exposed.
Yet he's bigger and stronger than most of the guys he fights, and now he's doing it all wrong!"

The host and former enforcer continued:
"Xhekaj, and I told him this, he can't do that."
He believes Xhekaj is starting to pick up some really bad habits in his fights, and it's costing him.
"And if he goes in like that (at the start of the fight) against Mathieu Olivier, he's going to get demolished."

In the end, Laraque hopes Xhekaj won't drop the gloves against Mathieu Olivier tonight, because he believes it would go very badly for the Canadiens defenseman.
