This holiday season is the perfect time to give back, and that's something the two Winnipeg Jets goaltenders understood perfectly.
Along with their agent, Ray Petkau, Connor Hellebuyck and Eric Comrie were indeed generous as they decided to donate new sticks, both Bauer and True, to no less than 20 young goalies in the Winnipeg area.
The 20 sticks were quickly snapped up, and just 24 hours later, Petkau reflected on the experience, saying he had a great time meeting the families of the young goalies.
Really great thinking on the part of this Winnipeg Jets trio! They found a great way to keep themselves busy during this forced break from the National Hockey League, and it's definitely the kind of action that's nice to see in these tough times for everyone.
