With all the Laval Rocket players who are with the Montreal Canadiens right now, it's only Jean-Sébastien Dea who has an NHL/AHL contract with the AHL team.
Logically, it is the Quebecer who should be recalled before the game against the Florida Panthers, which is on the calendar for January 1, 2022.
Dea has a great season with the Rocket, playing his role as a leader and an experienced player to perfection. So far, the 27-year-old forward has 12 points, including eight goals, in 24 duels.
The former Rouyn-Noranda Huskies player was never selected for an NHL roster, but he signed an entry deal with the Penguins in September 2013, then he played 33 games in the National Hockey League.
In short, expect to read his name via all the platforms that cover the Montreal Canadiens in the coming hours.
