A few hours after announcing the signing of their second to last restricted free agent, Kirby Dach, the Montreal Canadiens have just announced the signing of young goaltender Cayden Primeau.

Thus, before the start of camp, all of the club's restricted free agents are now under contract.
Primeau, 23, has just agreed to terms on a three-year contract with the Montreal Canadiens.
This is a contract worth $890,000 per season.
"Club de hockey Canadien general manager Kent Hughes announced Thursday that the team has agreed to terms on a three-season, one-way contract with goaltender Cayden Primeau (2022-2023 to 2024-2025).

The deal, which is worth an average of $890,000 annually, will pay him $770,000 in 2022-2023, $800,000 in 2023-2024 and $1,100,000 in 2024-2025.

The 23-year-old Primeau posted a 1-7-1 record in 12 games with the Canadiens last season, posting a goals-against-average of 4.62 and save percentage of .868. In 18 total NHL games, the 6'03", 203-pound goalie has a 3-10-2 record." - Montreal Canadiens

As Marc-Olivier Beaudoin mentions, "a 1 way contract, all that changes is that you earn the same salary whether you play in the NHL or the AHL. No impact, no obligation to keep him "up".
