We've learned in the last few hours that former Montreal Canadiens forward Mathieu Perreault has found himself a job, and that's interesting for fans.

Why? Because Perreault officially becomes a contributor to the La Poche Bleue Midi show, hosted by Stephane Gonzalez.
It will be really interesting to hear his stories and commentary.
Currently, he's still technically an unrestricted free agent and looking for a new pact, but don't be surprised if after this announcement he confirms his retirement. The release even seems to confirm it.
It's strange to hear it this way, but hey.
In 2021-22, Perreault had nine points, in 25 games, with the Tricolore.
The other contributors to the show will be: Maxim Lapierre, Guillaume Latendresse, Simon Gagné, Michel Therrien, Louis Robitaille, Joël Bouchard, Steve Bégin, Raphaël Doucet and Justine St-Martin.
Solid!
See the official description in the TVA Sports press release. They really seem to announce his retirement... Wow!
Mathieu Perreault

Mathieu was the Canadiens' colour guard last season and has over 700 games of experience in the National Hockey League with the Capitals, Ducks, Jets and CH. He has four times scored over 40 points in a season, including three times with the Jets. Mathieu has always been known for his versatility. He could help out on the first and fourth lines, and he had a great sense of play. Newly retired from hockey, this will be his first experience in the media." - TVA Sports

It's a funny way to find out, but we're happy for him. It's a great mandate he'll have!
